  • Blues Experience Series 1 - Lesson 1 You know you're in the hands of a pro when Innes is teaching you the Blues; and this introduction definitely doesn't disappoint. In this lesson Innes demonstrates a classic solo with some great licks and slides packed in to it. You'll get to hear his hollowed, sharp but beautiful Blues tone when he plays the different sections at full speed and slowed down, demonstrating in detail. You'll be able to get your fingers around a double stop, a great rundown and Innes will also go into some detail explaining some notes on the 'Hendrix Chords.'
  • Blues Experience Series 1 - Lesson 2 For lesson two, things get mellowed out and that that warm Blues tone, dominates the sound. Innes demonstrates a really great selection of licks in detail, which all come together to make a great sounding piece. You'll specifically concentrate on getting your pre-bends accurate and also get your fingers around some slow bends. Getting these techniques right is important for the coming lessons and makes the solo sound awesome! As in lesson 1, Innes goes into detail as to how to play the piece and how to achieve those bang on bends.
  • Blues Experience Series 1 - Lesson 3 Innes begins to increase the pressure with this solo, in order to build your confidence and expertise with these lessons. He demonstrates a solo, which has an awesome selection of licks to get your hand on. You'll learn how to utilise unison bends to make your playing sound Hendrix-esque and learn how Innes picks these notes with the right amount of attack. You'll also discover a cracking Pentatonic run-down with a series of alternating Hammer on's and Pull off's, which Innes will explain in great detail. As if that wasn't enough you'll also be introduced to a Stevie Ray-Vaughn double stop which will make your hair stand on end.
  • Blues Experience Series 1 - Lesson 4 In this solo Innes provides a further truckload of seriously cool techniques you are definitely going to want to add to your arsenal. In the beginning you'll learn some Albert King style three-string bends, which sound awesome and will progress your knowledge further. As ever, Innes explains this in great detail so you won't be unclear. Moving in into the lesson, you'll get to grips with some great volume swells which sound amazing with this style of playing and can be done with chords or single notes. There are some melodic fast-runs added in for flavour, so this solo will definitely give you a serious case of guitar face by the time you're ready to move on.
  • Blues Experience Series 1 - Lesson 5 In this lesson, Innes begins by playing around with thirds, getting you to expand your playing vocabulary a little further. He makes this more 'trixy' by playing triplets with open strings which results in a great sounding lick at the start of the solo. This is definitely heading into Spanish territory so a really quirky sound evolves from this lesson. In addition, Innes will demonstrate further detail regarding Hammering on and off at pace, going into all the detail you're going to need. Finally, you'll get your hands around an awesome chromatic slide into a harmonic, which is manipulated by an amazing behind the nut bend. An absolute must see.
